Roberto Justus reveals diagnosis of disease that is more common in men: how to identify?

Roberto Justus revealed on his Instagram profile on Sunday (6) that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The 67-year-old presenter said he discovered the disease after having an annual check-up and having surgery to remove the tumor.
Justus said that during the routine examination, he discovered the presence of a bladder cyst and, following medical advice, underwent an operation to investigate whether it was a case of a malignant tumor or not. “We operate, we open [o cisto] and we found out that it was. So, I had invasive bladder cancer, only it was taken out in time because I got it on an exam.”

The presenter also used the space to encourage preventive exams, since it was through them that he discovered the disease. “Have a regular check-up, especially those who are over 40 years old. This physical strength that I have, this determination that I have, will be very important allies for me, to get rid of this problem”, he added.
Now, Justus will undergo preventive chemotherapy to prevent any cancer cells from escaping to other organs. In addition to the presenter, Celso Portiolli also revealed, last year, to be treating bladder cancer.
Bladder cancer: how to identify the disease?
Bladder cancer is a type of tumor that starts in the lining of this organ and, according to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), it is estimated that almost ten thousand new cases arise every year, especially in men.
